I like to ride my Bicycle

This is a set of photographs I took with my sister.
We took these for Nebula magazine: http://www.facebook.com/MagazineNebula?fref=ts

I had a very short time frame to complete this shoot, so me, my sister and my lovely boyfriend ran out just as I finished work and got on our bikes to ride over to our chosen location (which happened to be about 3 miles out of town!)

Before getting on my bike I had not realised that my bike was in a very slight state of disrepair, and made a very loud very embarrassing squeaking noise through the whole journey. When we finally got to our location the sun was already setting, so we had about twenty minutes to complete our shoot (and I personally think we did quite well given the circumstances). While I was photographing, ‘le boyfriend sat and ‘fixed’ my bike, basically meaning he kicked it till it stopped squeaking.
The ride back was much less strenuous, given that the squeak had left us! But… At this point the sun had gone down, and as all but one of us had no bike lights, we were left to push our bikes home.

The way you move is like a full on rainstorm, and I’m a house of cards

This was a shoot I did with two of my friends Frankey and SamSam, they both turned out to be absolutely stunning models! And I’m so happy with the results!

That’s all folks!

Oops, I did it again!

Please excuse the poor Britney Spears lyric reference in the title, but I have once again, failed to post in an awfully long time. I have lots of new stuff to share with you guys, so please bare with me as I post it all.

Thankies!

So lets set the world on fire, we can burn brighter than the sun Pt.2

These are all photos I took of a great band called Billy Vincent. I would definitely suggest that people check them out!

So lets set the world on fire, we can burn brighter than the sun (Redfest 2012)

The weekend before last my camera and I were at a small music festival in Redhill Surrey. I have to say, it was one great weekend, and I would most definitely recommend Redfest as a festival to go to. I came home with just under 400 photos which I still haven’t managed to sort properly… I managed to get some quite nice shots of some of the bands playing earlier, butI struggled with the later bands as I was rather squished in the crowds…

Here are a few of the shots

I will be posting more pictures shortly 🙂

And in 5 years time, I might not know you

I took these photos late Autumn last year. I was just wondering around town and snapped these…

You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress

These were photos I took for an art project. They were part of my final piece.

To get the colouring I have in these photos I was out at 5 in the morning with my camera and tripod. All of these photos were taken with a 30 second exposure, that’s how I achieved the colours in the sky. I used a remote shutter release to ensure that I wasn’t knocking my camera when pressing the shutter button.

I haven’t posted on here for quite a while now. I could say that I’ve been really busy and haven’t had the chance, but truth is I just got out of the habit.

These are some photos I took, just as the sun was going down (because I’ve never said that before). I used a polarizing filter and a wide angle converter, the wide angle is what gave me the black frame around my photos.

Singing Sweet Home Alabama, All Summer Long

These are some photos I took last year to promote my brother’s music.

You can find his facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Izzy-Stephens/257754504244522

I got a little bit distracted by the amazing sky when taking these photos. Looking at the photos, I was most probably using a polarizing filter.
